To UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and world leader

Militants shot Malala in the head outside her school last year to try to shut her up. But they failed. This week she'll spend her 16th birthday meeting the UN Secretary General, and we can help her win her fight for girls' education.

Growing up in a remote part of Pakistan, Malala realised aged 12 that girls shouldn't just stay at home. So she started campaigning for schools to let them in, becoming so effective that Taliban gunmen ambushed her school bus.
